World Mental Health 2023: Mental Health is a Universal Right

Co-Founder’s Message.

On this World Mental Health Day in 2023, I’m honoured to address you all, not just as the founder of our mental health organization, but as a part of a global movement with a shared mission: to declare that Mental Health is a Universal Right!

As we look back on our journey and the strides we’ve taken, it’s inspiring to see how our collective efforts have illuminated the importance of mental well-being in all its diversity. Today is not just a date on the calendar; it’s a testament to our unwavering commitment to create a world where every individual’s mental health is not only acknowledged but safeguarded.

Our progress has been commendable, yet the road ahead calls for even more dedication and resilience. There are still barriers to break, stigma to challenge, and support to extend to those who need it the most. But we are up for the task, for we believe in a world where mental health is accessible to all, regardless of their background.

Let today be a moment of rededication. Let’s pledge to continue being the catalysts of change, the compassionate listeners, and the steadfast supporters. In doing so, we actively contribute to the realization of mental health as a universal right for everyone.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to every member of our organization, every supporter, and every ally who has joined hands in this mission. Together, we are not just raising awareness; we are creating impact and transforming lives!

Today, let’s reaffirm our commitment to this vital cause and shine a light on the path ahead. Together, we are making a difference, one heart and mind at a time.
